Himtattva's architecture follows old Kumaoni conventions — local stone walls, slate roofing and timber detailing — techniques that have sheltered families in these hills for generations, long before modern building materials arrived here.
Restoring and building this way is slower and more deliberate, but it keeps the property in conversation with the landscape and the villages around it, rather than standing apart from them.
